The system is being asked to deliver more — earlier intervention, greater inclusion, and clearer evidence of impact.
But it lacks the infrastructure to do so.
A Learner Support Platform (LSP) addresses this gap.
An LSP is the AI-powered, operational layer that enables provision to be delivered, tracked and evidenced across settings.
It sits alongside existing systems, ensuring that support is:
It's designed to help schools, trusts and local authorities coordinate, deliver and evidence provision for pupils outside the standard classroom model.

Evidence & Accountbility
A core challenge within the current system is not the absence of support — but the absence of clear, consistent evidence of what has been delivered and its impact.
Bloom addresses this by ensuring that provision is not only coordinated, but captured and evidenced as it happens.
Bloom links three critical dimensions of a learner’s experience:
This creates a structured record that moves beyond description, enabling schools and services to demonstrate how support is translating into outcomes.
Provision is recorded as it is delivered — not retrospectively.
This enables:
Leaders are able to move from reactive reporting to active oversight.
All stakeholders supporting a learner — including school staff, external providers and services — contribute to a single, shared record.
This ensures:
The result is a record that is structured, transparent and auditable.
Curriculum & Training
Bloom’s Academy content (provided by Gaia Learning) provides a structured three-year spiral curriculum in Maths, English and Science, covering Key Stage 3 and building securely through Key Stage 4 standards.
The curriculum is aligned to Functional Skills (Level 1 and 2), OCN (Level 1 and 2 Application of Number and Communication), and is intentionally designed to prepare learners for Pearson IGCSE pathways.
Comprehensive long-term and mid-term plans are supported by mapping documents that clearly align content to national curriculum requirements, qualification frameworks and IGCSE expectations, while allowing schools the professional freedom to select texts and contexts that best suit their learners.
Alongside the curriculum framework, Gaia Academy provides exemplar short-term plans, sample lesson resources, interdisciplinary interest-based courses, and inclusive CPD (including SENCo-led bite-size training) to support high-quality implementation.
We provide the structure, progression and pedagogical model; schools retain the flexibility to develop and upload tailored resources that meet the needs of their setting, ensuring learning is both standards-aligned and genuinely learner-centred.
