Key Features & Benefits.
Deliver SEND reform & save time.

Bloom brings together a virtual learning environment, learner management system, and whole-child data dashboard — using live delivery insight to track progress against care plans, EHCPs, and individual support needs in real time.

The system is being asked to deliver more — earlier intervention, greater inclusion, and clearer evidence of impact.

But it lacks the infrastructure to do so.

  • Provision is fragmented.
  • Delivery is difficult to track.
  • Impact is hard to evidence.

A Learner Support Platform (LSP) addresses this gap.

An LSP is the AI-powered, operational layer that enables provision to be delivered, tracked and evidenced across settings.

AI powered, Safe & Secure

At Bloom, we believe AI should strengthen human relationships in education — not replace them. Our AI is designed to reduce administrative burden, support educator insight, and help schools build a more connected understanding of each learner over time. Safety, safeguarding, and privacy are built into the platform from the ground up, with strict data isolation, human oversight, auditability, and role-based protections at every level. AI within Bloom supports decision-making, but never replaces professional judgement, ensuring educators and safeguarding leads always remain in control.

Save time, improve visibility, better support the learner.

  • AI powered educator session summaries, learner notes and engagement inssight
  • Engagement tracking & Progress mapping
  • Recommendations of support against EHCP & care plan alignment
  • Insight driven, auto report generation
  • Continuous learner view of academic, engagement & wellbeing
  • Fully auditable data - safe & secure

Bloom Capabilities

Evidence & Accountbility

A core challenge within the current system is not the absence of support — but the absence of clear, consistent evidence of what has been delivered and its impact.

Bloom addresses this by ensuring that provision is not only coordinated, but captured and evidenced as it happens.

From activity to evidence

Bloom links three critical dimensions of a learner’s experience:

  • Provision — what support is being delivered
  • Engagement — whether the learner is participating
  • Progress — what is changing over time

This creates a structured record that moves beyond description, enabling schools and services to demonstrate how support is translating into outcomes.

Real-time visibility

Provision is recorded as it is delivered — not retrospectively.

This enables:

  • Immediate visibility of what support a learner is receiving
  • Early identification of disengagement or breakdown in provision
  • More timely and informed decision-making

Leaders are able to move from reactive reporting to active oversight.

A shared, auditable record

All stakeholders supporting a learner — including school staff, external providers and services — contribute to a single, shared record.

This ensures:

  • Consistency across settings and professionals
  • Reduced duplication of records
  • Clear attribution of provision and responsibility
  • A coherent narrative of the learner’s journey

The result is a record that is structured, transparent and auditable.

Curriculum & Training

  • Add & share access to your schools own Curriculum & Resources
  • Utilise Gaia Learning SEND CPD & Training
  • Use Gaia Learning Curriculum & Interest based courses

Bloom’s Academy content (provided by Gaia Learning) provides a structured three-year spiral curriculum in Maths, English and Science, covering Key Stage 3 and building securely through Key Stage 4 standards.

The curriculum is aligned to Functional Skills (Level 1 and 2), OCN (Level 1 and 2 Application of Number and Communication), and is intentionally designed to prepare learners for Pearson IGCSE pathways.

Comprehensive long-term and mid-term plans are supported by mapping documents that clearly align content to national curriculum requirements, qualification frameworks and IGCSE expectations, while allowing schools the professional freedom to select texts and contexts that best suit their learners.

Alongside the curriculum framework, Gaia Academy provides exemplar short-term plans, sample lesson resources, interdisciplinary interest-based courses, and inclusive CPD (including SENCo-led bite-size training) to support high-quality implementation.

We provide the structure, progression and pedagogical model; schools retain the flexibility to develop and upload tailored resources that meet the needs of their setting, ensuring learning is both standards-aligned and genuinely learner-centred.

Other contents includes:

  • Interest Based courses
  • SENCO Bitesize training
  • Creative 'Understanding Neurodiversity' workshop & lesson plans

Security, Data & Integrations

Bloom is built to operate as part of your existing infrastructure.

  • Secure by design — aligned with UK GDPR and education data standards
  • Role-based access — ensuring appropriate visibility across staff and partners
  • Centralised learner records — reducing duplication and fragmentation
  • Works alongside MIS systems — no disruption to core school data processes
  • Supports multi-setting delivery — including trusts and external provision

Data is structured to support inspection readiness, EHCP reviews, and trust-level oversight.

Your MIS manages school data.

The Cost of Doing Nothing

Schools and trusts typically face:

  • Alternative provision: ~£10,000 per pupil per year
  • Permanent exclusion (including AP and wider costs): £60,000+ per pupil
  • Escalated SEND support funded from core budgets: up to £6,000 per pupil

These costs escalate quickly — often reactively.

Bloom enables provision to be proactive instead.

Inclusive Infrastructure for SEND

We understand that every school, local authority, and practitioner is working with different needs, resources, and levels of support. Whether you’re introducing a whole-school approach or enhancing specialist provision, there’s a flexible model to suit you.

Each plan is built to deliver meaningful outcomes—combining proven tools, clear progress tracking, and the ability to involve the right people at the right time, so every child gets the support they need to succeed.
