Pricing & Return on Investment

Affordable. Scalable. Designed for real school budgets.

Bloom is an annual software subscription that enables schools and local authorities to deliver flexible, inclusive SEND and alternative provision whilst tracking engagement, impact and outcomes.

In practice, Bloom can support hundreds of learners at the cost of less than one external placement.

Keeping Learners Engaged & On-Roll Protects Outcomes — and Budgets

Bloom is not just about flexible provision.
It is about protecting attendance, attainment and long-term outcomes.

The Department for Education’s 2025 research shows:

  • Pupils attending 95–100% of the time in Year 11 are 1.9x more likely to achieve Grade 5 in English and Maths than those attending 90–95%
  • Missing just 10 days in Year 11 reduces the likelihood of achieving Grade 5 by around 50%
  • Moving up just one 5% attendance band (around two extra weeks in school) increases the chance of success by 10–30%, even when controlling for SEND, FSM eligibility and prior attainment

Why This Matters Commercially

When a learner disengages:

  • Attainment drops
  • Reintegration becomes harder
  • External placements become more likely
  • Long-term costs increase

When a learner stays connected:

  • They remain on-roll
  • Funding stays within the school or trust
  • GCSE outcomes are protected
  • Post-16 pathways remain open

Bloom gives schools a way to maintain connection — through hybrid learning, small group delivery, 1:1 support and remote access — using existing staff and curriculum.

Even preventing a small cohort from slipping into the 85–90% attendance band can have measurable academic and financial impact.

  • Bloom protects attendance.
  • Attendance protects attainment.
  • Attainment protects future opportunity — and reduces reactive spend.

The Cost of Doing Nothing

Schools and trusts typically face:

  • Alternative provision: ~£10,000 per pupil per year
  • Permanent exclusion (including AP and wider costs): £60,000+ per pupil
  • Escalated SEND support funded from core budgets: up to £6,000 per pupil

These costs escalate quickly — often reactively.

Bloom enables provision to be proactive instead.
